Best awning warranty for Florida State.

As part of our promise to deliver a quality product, Flamingo Awnings offers a 5 Year Limited Warranty on fabric (depending on brand). We understand that an Awning is an investment and want to assure you of our work and make you feel at ease.

Flamingo Awnings offers a 1-year warranty of the structure if the pre-established requirements are met. Florida is known for its hurricanes, so we ask that clients always have the fabric of their Flamingo Awning removed when a hurricane is expected. This will protect the structure from being damaged when strong winds and rain arise.

Awnings can have either Sunbrella or Weblon Coast Line Plus fabric, both of which come with a 5-year warranty. This warranty covers the deterioration or discoloration of the material under natural circumstances. The client should be maintaining their awning to the best of their ability to call in the warranty. Read more about each fabric warranty requirements

We cover all our fabric awnings with the most complete guarantee in the sector: using the only brand of fabrics technicians that guarantees its products against abrasion and the appearance of balls, in addition to discoloration and loss of tension.

Sunbrella is the only high-performance brand whose warranty covers: Decol- prayer, Loss of tension, Abrasion, Appearance of balls Thanks to the continuous improvements introduced in our processes, from 1 June 2020 Sunbrella is ready to extend its warranty to cover abrasion and the appearance of thread balls on the surface.

Sunbrella Clarity, Sunbrella Decorative Shade, Sunbrella Plus, Sunbrella SeaMark, Sunbrella Sling, Sunbrella Supreme We cover all of our fabrics with the most comprehensive warranty in the industry: a limited warranty 5 years for special fabrics and decorative solar textiles: Discoloration, Loss of voltage.

Coastline PlusTM Limited Warranty

Coastline PlusTM Awning Fabrics are guaranteed for a period of five (5) years from date of original installation against rot or excessive deterioration, mildew stains, excessive loss of strength or color change if they occur in normal use and exposure, including sunlight and normal atmospheric chemicals. (Some color change is unavoidable due to ultraviolet rays and chemicals in the atmosphere.)

In the unlikely event of failure of fabric during the five (5) year period from date of original installation, we will supply you, the original owner or the provider of your protective fabric accessories with replacement fabric at no charge.

This warranty protects you against damage to the fabric accessories used under normal conditions. It does not cover damage to the fabric from acts of God, vandalism, neglect or improper use.

This warranty is in lieu of all warranties expressed or implied, and, Herculite Products Inc. will not be liable for any consequential or incidental damage. Any implied warranties imposed by law are limited in time to the duration of the expressed warranty.

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damage, so, the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

Flamingo Awnings LLC Limited 1-year Warranty

Flamingo Awnings offers a 1-year limited material warranty for any aluminum structure. Under the specified conditions and limitations, Flamingo Awnings LLC (“Flamingo”) guarantees that its aluminum products and panels will be free from material defects in quality and materials. This limited warranty covers the quality of workmanship and materials for one year from the installation date. The warranty becomes void if the product is relocated from the address listed on the warranty certificate and only applies to regular and proper use. Damage caused by misuse is not covered under this limited warranty.

This warranty is exclusively for the original purchaser and is non-transferable. It does not cover the cost of installing, removing, or disposing of any product, nor the cost of installing any replacement product provided under the warranty terms. Flamingo does not ensure that any replacement aluminum parts will match the originals in color or pattern. Flamingo reserves the right to discontinue or modify any product line or color without notifying the original purchaser. If the original product is unavailable, we may provide replacement material of equal value or quality.

This warranty applies only to products used on residential or commercial properties where the owner resides during the original owner’s occupancy. For products installed on non-residential properties where the owner does not reside, such as schools, condominiums, apartment buildings, rental properties, or properties owned by entities like corporations, government agencies, partnerships, trusts, religious organizations, and cooperatives, the warranty period is one year from the installation date and is limited to the original owner (non-transferable).

Exclusions –

Flamingo is not liable for, and this warranty does not cover, any failure, defect, damage, or expense resulting from or related to:

• Installation or handling of products once they leave our facility, including any lack of performance or improper performance by the contractor or installer;
• Abnormal use of the products;
• Heat or radiation;
• The use of any product not manufactured by Flamingo;
• Labor, transportation, or installation costs;
• Color changes due to weathering or aging, provided the color change is even and consistent when exposed to similar environmental conditions, as weathering will cause any colored surface to gradually lighten, darken, chalk, or accumulate dirt or stains (the severity of these conditions depends on air quality, geographic location, and other local conditions beyond Flamingo’s control);
• Factors beyond Flamingo’s control, including weathering, oxidation, mold, mildew, building settling, structural failure (including foundations and walls), use of incompatible accessories, fire, flood, lightning, ice, wind-borne objects, earthquake, hurricane, sun, cyclone, gale, tornado, catastrophic weather, acts of God, intentional acts, unreasonable use, misuse, physical abuse, vandalism, riot, insurrection, civil disorder, accidents, corrosive atmospheres (such as those contaminated by acid rain, harmful chemicals, or vapors), or other defects not caused by Flamingo; or ordinary wear and tear.
